1. General Overview
Free State Wing Shooting provides professionally hosted wing shooting experiences in South Africa’s Free State.
All bookings are confirmed on an enquiry basis and are subject to availability, group size, and seasonal conditions.
By confirming a booking, guests agree to the terms outlined below.
2. Booking Process
All trips are arranged individually to ensure:

Suitable accommodation availability

A fully coordinated experience
Availability is not guaranteed until confirmed in writing.
A booking is considered confirmed only once:

Dates are agreed in writing, and
-
The required deposit has been received.
3. Group Size Requirements

Standard minimum group size: 4 guests

Standard maximum group size: 8 guests

Smaller groups may be accommodated at adjusted rates or as part of a tailored itinerary.
Pricing is based on group size and confirmed prior to booking.
4. Deposits & Payments

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure dates.

The remaining balance must be paid prior to arrival (specific timelines confirmed during booking).

All pricing is confirmed in writing before payment.
Failure to complete payment by the agreed date may result in cancellation of the booking.
5. Cancellations & Date Changes
Because trips are planned around agricultural conditions and group allocations:

Deposits are non-refundable.

Date changes may be considered at management discretion.

Refunds are not guaranteed for last-minute cancellations.
We strongly recommend travel insurance.
6. Firearm & Safety Policy
Safety is strictly enforced at all times.
Guests must:

Follow all instructions from guides and hosting staff.

Comply with South African firearm regulations.

Handle firearms responsibly and safely at all times.
Any unsafe firearm behaviour may result in immediate removal from shooting activities without refund.
7. Alcohol Policy
Local beer and wine are included as part of the hosted experience.
However:

Alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited during active shooting sessions.

No guest may handle or discharge a firearm while under the influence of alcohol.

The outfitting team reserves the right to restrict alcohol consumption where safety may be compromised.
These measures are in place to protect all guests, staff, and surrounding agricultural operations.
8. Guest Responsibility
Guests are responsible for:

Valid passports and visas

Firearm import permits (if applicable)

Compliance with international and South African travel regulations

Medical fitness to participate in shooting activities
Free State Wing Shooting is not responsible for travel disruptions, airline delays, or denied entry.
9. Shooting Conditions
Wing shooting takes place on privately managed agricultural land.
As this is a natural and seasonal activity:

No guarantees are made regarding specific bag numbers.
All trips are structured to provide sustained and well-managed shooting opportunities.
10. Liability
Participation in wing shooting involves inherent risk.
By confirming a booking, guests acknowledge:

Shooting is a sporting activity with associated risks.

They participate voluntarily.

Free State Wing Shooting, its hosts, staff, and landowners are not liable for injury, loss, or damage except where caused by proven gross negligence.
Guests may be required to sign an indemnity form upon arrival.
11. Itinerary Adjustments
Schedules, shooting areas, and accommodation arrangements may be adjusted due to:

All changes are made in the interest of guest experience and safety.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Any disputes shall fall under South African jurisdiction.
